Project Overview:


In my latest work as a Design Trainer at Re:Coded, I took the lead in the redesign of our UX/UI Curriculum for our bootcamps.


This project was deeply rooted in the SPACE (Self-Paced, Active, Constructive, Engaging) Learning Principles, aimed at overhauling the existing educational framework to construct a goldilock learner-driven experience.

We want to make it more adaptable, engaging, and conducive to higher quality learning outcomes. For example we had the problem of different skill levels for our admitted students, where some of them are in advanced level, and they used to get bored or even drop out.



We wanted to create something more modular, and give back the agency of the learning experience to our students.

In this project since “Self-Paced” was the first principle we want to reinforce, we produced different kinds of educational content, we had produced videos, readings, podcasts, and flashcards. 



I led the video production process of this curriculum, I own the whole process starting with scripting and finalizing the editing of the video content. Since this was the first time we were producing videos at Re:Coded I had to establish processes and guidelines for this project.



I created a home studio with professional equipment, put down specific and detailed guidelines for script writing that serve our education pedagogy and is also engaging, shot the content and edited it to finally be ready to be uploaded and consumed.
